What makes a game good? More importantly, what makes a game bad?
An independent quality review will point out things that detract from your game’s playability, visual impact, professionalism, and more, providing resources and solutions to quickly address important issues.
A quality review can be done à la carte or as a full review.
Game feel and mechanics:
Visual adjustments to style and branding
Player movement tweaks, user experience flow, user interface adjustments, economy loopholes
What makes the game fun? What is making it less fun?
Audio, music, and voice acting:
Overall audio quality, music mood impact, punch up voice acting delivery
Where are you missing sound effects? Which audio cues don’t fit?
How can your voice actors improve their recordings and adjust their lines?
Game structure:
Story flow, level design and progression, balancing
Does the game have the intended impact? Is anything confusing?
Is the game too difficult too quickly? Too easy?
Content mistakes:
Typos, text/voice file mismatches, unclear instructions or descriptions
Does what I’m hearing match what I’m reading?
Are the instructions straightforward? Does all the lore fit together?
Missing elements:
Identify the je ne sais quoi of your game and where it might be missing the mark
What makes the game special? What makes it marketable?
Where does the game feel generic? What is unique, and how can those aspects be amplified?
