Quality Consultation

What makes a game good? More importantly, what makes a game bad?
An independent quality review will point out things that detract from your game’s playability, visual impact, professionalism, and more, providing resources and solutions to quickly address important issues.

A quality review can be done à la carte or as a full review.

Game feel and mechanics:

  • Visual adjustments to style and branding

  • Player movement tweaks, user experience flow, user interface adjustments, economy loopholes

  • What makes the game fun? What is making it less fun?

Audio, music, and voice acting:

  • Overall audio quality, music mood impact, punch up voice acting delivery

  • Where are you missing sound effects? Which audio cues don’t fit?

  • How can your voice actors improve their recordings and adjust their lines?

Game structure:

  • Story flow, level design and progression, balancing

  • Does the game have the intended impact? Is anything confusing?

  • Is the game too difficult too quickly? Too easy?

Content mistakes:

  • Typos, text/voice file mismatches, unclear instructions or descriptions

  • Does what I’m hearing match what I’m reading?

  • Are the instructions straightforward? Does all the lore fit together?

Missing elements:

  • Identify the je ne sais quoi of your game and where it might be missing the mark

  • What makes the game special? What makes it marketable?

  • Where does the game feel generic? What is unique, and how can those aspects be amplified?
